The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-29 CB is a 29-foot fiberglass trawler built around a command bridge design. Power comes from a 320 hp Volvo diesel engine, paired with standard bow and stern thrusters for easy maneuvering. The command bridge sits above the main cabin and seats four, equipped with a full set of electronic controls including VHF radio, thruster controls, engine controls, and a spotlight remote. A curved front window and overhead glass atrium provide expansive sightlines from both the bridge and the salon below, while access to the bridge is via teak steps from the aft cockpit.
The boat sleeps up to six adults across three separate berths, including a forward island berth with an en-suite head. The aft cockpit features a reversible seat, port and starboard jump seats, and a teak table for outdoor dining. An opening cabin bulkhead with another reversible seat extends the living space and allows the outside in when desired. The main cabin layout incorporates the styling and proportions of Ranger Tugs' R-29 design philosophy, optimized for comfort and functionality underway.
Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote operation. Optional systems available include Garmin autopilot and integrated navigation with dual-station chart plotters, sonar, xHD radar, and AIS receiving. Additional features such as air conditioning with reverse cycle heat, diesel generator with sound shield, 220-watt solar panels, propane stove, macerator, underwater lights, safety kit, and teak and holly EVA foam traction decking can be specified. The engine is positioned outside the cabin for quieter operation while cruising.
