The 2026 Ranger Tugs R-29 CB is a 29-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 320-horsepower Volvo diesel engine. This model centers on its elevated command bridge—a distinctive feature that sets it apart from the standard R-29 design. The bridge provides seating for four, a dining table, and a full helm station with Garmin 8612 chartplotter, bow and stern thruster controls, autopilot, VHF radio, and Volvo engine controls. Teak steps in the aft cockpit lead to the bridge, which also includes grab rails, 12-volt power, cupholders, and weatherproof speakers.
The lower helm station is similarly equipped with a Garmin 8612xsv chartplotter, xHD radar, sonar, AIS receiving, and autopilot with remote capability. Both navigation systems allow full monitoring of engine data, fuel flow, GPS position, bottom conditions, and tides. Bow and stern thrusters, operable via wireless remote, assist with docking and close-quarters handling.
The interior features a full galley with propane stove and oven with broiler, sink with pull-out rinse faucet, cutting board, refrigerator-freezer combo, microwave, and wine-water cooler. The cabin includes overhead atrium skylights with heat-reflective tint and opening rooftop hatches for natural light and ventilation. Seating throughout is versatile: a reversible sunset seat that faces either cockpit or aft, an opening bulkhead seat, and folding side seats maximize the available space. This Luxury Edition model includes reverse-cycle air conditioning and a diesel generator with sound shield.
