The Robalo R222 is a 22-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine. The design prioritizes fishing capability and practical boat handling, combining extended centerline length with an 8.5-foot beam to deliver stability and usable deck space.

The boat's fishing-focused layout includes twin 30-gallon fish boxes—suited for both storage and live bait preservation—and a 15-gallon livewell positioned beneath the standard leaning post. The livewell features LED lighting and blue gelcoat detailing. A single head is on board, and the boat carries a head compartment for basic sanitation facilities.

Storage has been prioritized throughout the design to support extended time on the water. The center console layout keeps the fishing deck open and unobstructed, while the wider beam contributes to a more comfortable ride in varied sea conditions.
