The 2026 Sea Ray SLX 280 is a 28-foot fiberglass bowrider built for open-water entertaining. It pairs a single gasoline engine with a thoughtfully designed layout that accommodates groups comfortably across the bow, cockpit, and aft seating areas. The boat features a U-shaped bow seating arrangement with foldable armrests and hinged cushions, opposing social seating in the cockpit with integrated storage, and an L-shaped aft bench with storage below the cushions.

The cockpit is equipped with practical conveniences including fourteen stainless-steel cup holders, seven USB ports (A and C), two 12-volt accessory outlets, and LED courtesy lighting throughout. The helm position seats two with a swivel, slider, and flip-up bolster for flexibility during operation. A gas-assisted bilge hatch and transom door with fiberglass block-off provide easy access and configuration options.

Standard hardware consists of six through-bolted stainless-steel cleats, stainless-steel bow and stern eyes, stainless-steel deck fill plates, cockpit handrails, and vinyl-wrapped handrails with Chil Cool Technology at the bow and cockpit. The electrical system includes a 120-volt, 60-hertz shore-power setup, a triple-bank 12-volt battery charger, battery switches, and a fuse block for integrated power management.
