The 40M Sunreef Explorer Eco is a 131-foot composite catamaran built for extended exploration with electric propulsion. Twin engines produce 1,448 horsepower, delivering silent, emission-free cruising. Her design maximizes solar collection across the hulls, superstructure, bimini, and full-beam bow terrace, with an integrated photovoltaic system rated at 50kWp. The result is a self-sufficient platform for remote waters and long private expeditions.
The interior layout adapts to various cruising plans and guest needs. A master suite with private terrace, multiple staterooms, and flexible common areas offer spaces for an indoor cinema, spa, library, or gym. Custom finishes incorporate recycled and recyclable materials throughout. The yacht accommodates 17 heads across its layout.
Sustainability runs through the technical systems. An advanced energy management system pairs with efficient air-conditioning, state-of-the-art watermakers, water-saving fixtures, rainwater collection, and a high-efficiency boiler with heat recovery to minimize resource consumption underway.
The aft cockpit spans the full beam with generous sunning areas and a spa pool overlooking the water. An ocean lounge forward connects to a walkaround relaxation deck with direct sea access and storage for dive equipment, e-bikes, e-foils, and tenders.
