The 2026 Wellcraft 28 Explorer is built on a stepped hull designed in partnership with Navia, engineered for speed, stability, and dry running. The hull uses W.I.S.E. Technology—Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering—to achieve a lighter, stiffer, and stronger structure. Powered by twin 400 hp Mercury outboards, the boat planes quickly and accelerates hard with responsive handling.

The design prioritizes safety and control across all conditions. The closed transom and high bulwarks work with oversized handrails and a dive door, while a one-level walkaround deck keeps movement around the boat straightforward. The Z-line silhouette blends bold American styling with European refinement, and the boat carries NMMA certification.
