2027 Back Cove 372
About This Yacht
The Back Cove 372 is the latest evolution of the 37-foot downeast line, built in fiberglass with refinements throughout. The new model features direct frameless glazed windows, redesigned helm with updated lighting, aft-facing cockpit seating, and new rear bulkhead doors. Power comes from a single 600-hp Volvo diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 28 knots. The yacht employs a 24-volt electrical system and carries a larger bow thruster than its predecessor.
The helm station showcases twin Stidd seats for captain and mate, with an L-shaped settee and opposing shorter settee for crew comfort. An inlaid table serves as a dining centerpiece, while vast windows and a large overhead sliding pilot hatch flood the space with light and air. A television retracts from the salon headliner. The mid-level galley runs centrally through the boat, offering sightlines to the helm, salon, and cockpit while maintaining galley privacy. Equipment includes a two-drawer refrigerator, freezer, microwave, deep stainless steel sink, and substantial drawer and locker storage.
The accommodations include a master stateroom with an island berth for easy access and owner's gear stowage, plus two lockers and multiple drawers. A full guest cabin to starboard features a double berth and abundant storage. A separate head compartment serves both cabins, with a dedicated shower stall. Engine access is engineered for practicality: the helm deck raises hydraulically to fully expose mechanical systems and internal components with a touch switch, eliminating the need for major disassembly during service or inspection.
