The Solaris 40 ST is a 40-foot sailing yacht built in fiberglass with a diesel-powered Volvo Penta engine of 60 horsepower. Designed for easy handling by small crews—manageable under sail by two people or even solo—the yacht features all halyards, sheets, and trim controls routed below deck to two winches positioned forward of the helm stations, allowing full operation from the protected cockpit. The main sheet has been completely decoupled from the cockpit and is now sheeted forward of the companionway, leaving the generous cockpit open and uncluttered.
The boat is built around a modern square-top rigging system that optimizes wind capture in the upper sail range for efficiency. The shorter boom and E-dimension, sized nearly equal to the jib's J-dimension, simplifies handling further. Hydrodynamic and aerodynamic refinements combine to deliver strong sailing performance.
The yacht accommodates two cabins and one head. Layout and equipment specifications are customizable to owner preference. This is a new build with a typical production timeline of nine to twelve months from order.
