An 84-foot steel trawler built in 1977 by Master Marine, this expedition-class yacht is undergoing conversion from its former life as a Gulf of Mexico shrimp trawler. The welded steel hull features a 22-foot beam and substantial depth, powered by a single 500-horsepower Cummins diesel engine with a cruising speed of 8 knots. The boat carries 12,000 gallons of fuel capacity and includes comprehensive systems for extended cruising, including potable water tankage of 3,000 gallons, multiple ballast tanks, and a Marco fuel polisher system.
The deckhouse forward contains the pilothouse with a cherry helm console, safety glass windows, and pilot chairs, with ready access to the raised deck. Below are accommodations for three cabins and two heads. The forepeak bow cabin is approximately 85 percent complete with a full bath, walk-in closet, and hull side liners in place; the main salon features partial outfitting in red oak joinery and cherry cabinetry in the pilothouse area. A galley is equipped with a three-burner LP gas stove, microwave, and stainless steel refrigerator, with ample storage in red oak cabinetry.
The former fish hold aft remains in early stages of conversion and can be finished according to owner preference as additional staterooms, closets, and laundry space. The vessel is insulated throughout the deckhouse with R-13 fiberglass and foam, and structural work is accompanied by preparations for final electrical runs and ceiling installation. Overhead in the deckhouse and salon awaits tongue-and-groove ceiling completion, with flooring to be finished in wood laminate. The boat carries U.S. Coast Guard recreational documentation.
