The 1983 Adler Fast 40 is a trailerable offshore racing yacht built around a lifting keel and 8-foot beam. Her narrow profile allows legal towing on public roads without permits. The boat combines serious offshore capability with the practicality of road transport and straightforward launch-and-go operation. An outboard motor and trailing package are included.
The yacht is equipped throughout with new racing-grade systems. Sails include a full-batten Doyle Stratis mainsail, self-tacking jib, and Code Zero—all newly built. Navigation and instrumentation are new B&G electronics with a Zeus chartplotter, wind instruments, and integrated autopilot. Power comes from new Victron lithium batteries with remote monitoring capability. Deck hardware consists of new Pontos 4-speed self-tailing winches, with new main cover and boom tent.
All wiring has been replaced with a complete new installation throughout the boat. The lifting keel provides shallow draft at the ramp and full offshore performance under sail.
