1986 Jefferson Monticello

The 1986 Jefferson Monticello is a 52-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Perkins diesel engines with approximately 3,200 hours of operation. The propellers were recently serviced and balanced at Admiral Marine. The boat carries a six-person Viking inflatable safety raft and is documented with the United States Coast Guard.

The yacht accommodates four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. The forward cabins include one with double bunks and another with a full-size bed. The aft section contains a cabin with double bunks and the master suite. The layout features a galley with a new electric glass-top range and separate oven, plus a washer-dryer combination. An aft deck galley includes a new electric grill, refrigerator, and bar sink.

Recent upgrades include three new electric toilets, granite countertops throughout the kitchen and all bathrooms, new flybridge canvas, and an updated electric crane. The freshwater system has been converted from a seawater loop to a closed system. The HVAC system and Category 5 wiring have been updated. The generator, installed six years ago, has 52 hours on it. New custom fuel tanks and a new battery charging system support lithium house and engine batteries.

Entertainment and navigation systems include updated Raymarine radar and chartplotters on both the flybridge and main salon, night vision camera, electric fireplace, and multiple flat-screen televisions throughout—in the salon, both forward bedrooms, the master suite, and the aft deck. A 13-foot Boston Whaler tender is available as an optional package; the 1984 Whaler has been fully restored with new center console, seating, bottom paint, fish finder, Bimini top, 45-horsepower outboard motor, and comes with a 2024 trailer.
