2001 Prima 52' Seahorse - Pilot House Fast Trawler

The Prima 52' Seahorse is a pilot house fast trawler built for comfortable cruising. Twin Cummins Diamond Series 6CTA 8.3L diesel engines deliver 450 horsepower each. The boat features a shallow draft with full keel, allowing operation in shallow waters while maintaining seaworthiness. The hull is solid fiberglass, with Nydacore decks and bridge areas for strength and reduced weight. Aluminum fuel tanks are zinc-primed and epoxy-coated to prevent corrosion.

The interior spans three staterooms with three heads, including two full heads with separate shower stalls and a third day head adjacent to the salon. The galley is fully equipped with full-size refrigerator and freezer, ice-maker, trash compactor, and granite countertops. Handcrafted cabinetry and fine woodwork throughout reflect quality build standards. A large opening window in the main salon provides natural light and ventilation.

Exterior spaces are generous: a climate-controlled flybridge with hardtop and full Strataglass enclosure with U-zips and rollup door, wide covered side decks for secure movement, a large cockpit with hardtop, and a curved fiberglass staircase connecting the cockpit to the flybridge. Reverse-cycle air conditioning serves all interior spaces including the flybridge.

Equipment includes a Northern Lights 12kw diesel generator with sound shield, Side-Power bow thruster, Simpson/Lawrence electric anchor windlass with helm and bow controls, and updated Raymarine electronics with Fusion audio. The 105-pound Mantus galvanized anchor with swivel and bridle is new. The Strataglass flybridge enclosure and electronics systems were updated in 2023 and 2024.
