1989 C&C 37/40+

The C&C 37/40+ is a racer-cruiser built on the proven hull of the C&C 37R, designed with comfort for extended cruising. This 40-foot fiberglass yacht combines performance sailing characteristics with a thoughtfully laid-out interior suited to coastal and longer-distance cruising.

The accommodations include two cabins and one head. The aft cabin features a centerline queen berth spanning the full beam, while the forward cabin has a V-berth with vanity and sink. The head is generously proportioned with a separate enclosed shower. The salon is bright and spacious, with a U-shaped settee to starboard and a bench settee to port. The galley on the starboard side offers substantial counter space and good equipment for meal preparation.

The 30 hp Universal diesel engine is paired with a three-blade MaxProp and a fuel polishing system. Sailing systems are straightforward: the mainsail is battened with lazy jacks, the genoa furls, and all control lines run aft to the cockpit for convenient sail handling. The yacht is equipped with Webasto diesel heating and air conditioning, a dodger and bimini with cockpit connector, recent Raymarine electronics, an extensive sail inventory, and cockpit cushions. Auxiliary equipment and covers are included throughout.
