2002 Farr 40

This 2002 Farr 40 is a composite-hulled sailing yacht designed for performance and offshore capability. Measuring 40 feet in length with a 13.25-foot beam, the boat combines classic Farr design principles with a responsive hull shape suited to varied conditions.

The yacht is powered by a single Yanmar diesel engine producing 27 horsepower, which was rebuilt in 2023. Recent work also includes a hull repaint and the installation of wheel steering, bringing the boat's systems up to current standards. The composite construction has proven durable through years of East Coast sailing and continued use.
