The Hanse 470e is a 46-foot cruising sailyacht built in 2007 and designed by the respected firm Judel/Vrolijk & Co. The hull features an epoxy sandwich construction with foam core reinforcement, which improves rigidity and performance while keeping weight down. A tall mast and approximately 124 square meters of sail area support fast, enjoyable cruising, while the clean deck layout and automation systems make the boat manageable for a small crew or single-handed sailing.
Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins and two heads, with a full galley featuring oven, stovetop, refrigeration, and generous storage. Air conditioning is installed throughout two zones, providing comfort comparable to a residential setting. The saloon and cabin spaces are well-appointed for extended cruising or family use.
Power comes from a Yammer 4JH4 diesel engine producing 75 horsepower, paired with a new Yammer SD60 saildrive transmission. An electric bow thruster simplifies maneuvering. The boat carries approximately 240 liters of fuel, 450 liters of fresh water, and includes a blackwater tank. Electronics are comprehensive: Raymarine GPS/plotter, radar, wind station, depth sounder, and AIS. Navigation and communication systems include 4G router and WiFi capability.
The yacht underwent complete refurbishment between 2024 and 2025, including engine overhaul, new saildrive, fresh batteries and generator, inverter, upgraded wiring, and new through-hull fittings. The two Jabsco manual heads are recent installations. Exterior features include a bimini, dodger, awning, and Sunbrella Plus covers for wheels and table. All systems are tested and documented.
