The 2008 Sabre 38 Hard Top Express is a classic downeast design built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines with joystick control. At 38 feet 6 inches long with a 13-foot 8-inch beam, the yacht combines purposeful styling with practical seakeeping. The boat was purchased new and has been operated exclusively in freshwater, accumulating low engine hours.
The hardtop pilothouse offers a semi-enclosed helm with Stidd captain and co-pilot chairs. The cabin includes teak floors in the pilothouse and a galley with a refrigerator installed in 2025 positioned aft of the helmsman's seat.
The hull and topsides were freshly painted with Awlcraft finish in 2023, including a double boot stripe. The yacht has been maintained without apparent expense sparing throughout its ownership.
