The 2011 Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Evolution is a fiberglass catamaran built for both performance and extended cruising. With a 48-foot length and 27-foot beam, the hull design delivers a stable ride and efficient sailing characteristics suited to varied conditions.

The interior accommodates four cabins and four heads, making the layout flexible for private cruising or charter use. All cabins are fitted with air conditioning. The galley and saloon spaces benefit from the catamaran's wide beam, providing generous room and natural light throughout.

Power comes from two Volvo diesel engines of 100 horsepower each, supported by a comprehensive electrical system: a substantial lithium battery bank, 1600 watts of solar panels, and a 9-kilowatt generator. This setup enables self-sufficient operation without reliance on shore power or frequent refueling. Recent upgrades have been made to the generator, systems, rigging, and onboard equipment, ensuring the boat's reliability and ease of handling for long-term cruising or regular use.
