The 2016 Bali 4.0 is a 39-foot fiberglass catamaran designed for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. Built on the Owner's Version layout, it features three double cabins and two heads, with an open-plan saloon that extends aft into the cockpit, creating an airy sense of space throughout. The owner's suite includes a dedicated desk and vanity area plus a private head. A single Nanni diesel engine of 40 hp powers the boat, supported by feathering propellers for efficiency.
The boat is comprehensively equipped for remote cruising and self-sufficiency. Power comes from a 1700-watt solar array and 800-amp-hour lithium battery bank, supplemented by shore-power capability for 220-volt connection. A 12-volt watermaker and dual freshwater pumps operate on solar energy. Navigation relies on Raymarine electronics including radar, AIS transponder, and dual 9-inch chartplotters. A high-performance Starlink installation provides connectivity. Ground tackle consists of 300 feet of chain with a Mantus bridle. The galley is fully equipped with an oversized refrigerator and BBQ, while a convertible saloon table serves as extra sleeping space during passages.
Recent maintenance includes a full engine service completed in December 2025 covering 1000 hours of running time, with heat exchanger and exhaust systems attended to. The hull was cleaned in February 2026, and air conditioning was checked functional in 2026. The boat carries one electric winch and three manual winches, maximum solar installation, sunbeds at the helm and forward cockpit, a hi-fi sound system, and wiring configured for a dive compressor. It has never been chartered and has had two private owners since launch.
