The 2021 Leopard 53 Powercat represents the fourth generation of Robertson and Caine's powercat line, combining the spacious, stable platform of a catamaran with motor yacht comfort and performance. Built from fiberglass, the yacht is powered by twin Yammer diesel engines producing 700 horsepower, achieving a cruising speed of 17.5 knots and maximum speed of 24 knots. The catamaran design delivers efficiency gains of up to 50 percent over comparable monohull motor yachts while remaining economical to maintain and operate.
The interior accommodates five cabins and five heads across a modern layout finished in cool tones. The owner's version features a spacious primary cabin designed for comfort. The main saloon opens to the foredeck through a forward door and includes panoramic windows, an L-shaped lounge to port, and a two-person settee to starboard, with provision for an interior navigation station. The galley is equipped with a domestic-sized refrigerator and freezer, Staron worktops, four-burner stove, microwave oven, and extensive storage.
The flybridge offers excellent sightlines from the helm station and includes generous seating and a large dining table for entertaining. Multiple outdoor spaces throughout the yacht support both dining and leisure, taking advantage of the 25-foot beam width inherent to the catamaran design.
