2023 NEEL 43

This 2023 NEEL 43 is a composite catamaran built to the Premium Pack specification. The boat measures 42 feet in length with a 24-foot beam and is powered by a single 50 hp Volvo diesel engine with Saildrive and a folding propeller; the engine has 4,400 hours of operation. The catamaran includes a bow thruster, electric winch, and a comprehensive suite of navigation and safety electronics comprising B&G Triton² instruments with autopilot, a CORTEX VHF with AIS, and a 9-inch Zeus navigation display.

Accommodation consists of three double cabins and one head with shower and hot/cold pressure water. The owner's cabin features wooden joinery and solid handrails, while the forward and port cabins have Alpi cabinetry and shelving. The saloon includes a Bolon floor, Alpi overhead, solid wooden handrails, and six storage lockers. Cabin furnishings include reading lights with USB outlets and blackout curtains throughout. A galley is equipped with a 130-litre refrigerator/freezer drawer, two-burner gas stove with oven and grill, and upper storage cabinetry.

The boat carries full Dacron sail inventory: a full-batten mainsail on ball-bearing cars, a genoa on roller furler with UV strip, and a lazy bag. Deck equipment includes an electric 12V anchor windlass, dinghy davits, teak-effect cockpit and transom steps, a rigid cockpit canopy, and a removable cockpit awning with mosquito extension. An integrated Bimini provides overhead protection with flexible windscreen and removable side panels. The boat comes with a Highfield CL310 tender and 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard, mooring kit with chain and 20 kg anchor, and complete offshore safety gear.

Electrical systems feature twin 2 kW Victron inverters with three lithium batteries and ten solar panels, gel service batteries, an Optima 12V starter battery, and 230V shore power with six outlets and 25-metre cable. The hull has been treated with epoxy-primed antifouling and features light grey gelcoat. Additional equipment includes a 60-litre water heater, wastewater tank, electric freshwater pump, Fusion Apollo 770 audio system, and Batyline sunshade protection.
