The La Mare Modern 11 is a 36-foot houseboat built on a foam-filled composite float system with a galvanized steel subframe. Power comes from twin Yamaha 25 hp high-thrust outboards with hydraulic steering, delivering a maximum speed of 8 knots and a cruising speed of 5 knots. The helm station is positioned on the forward port side.
The layout accommodates two staterooms and one head with shower, sink, electric freshwater flush toilet, heated towel rack, and ventilation fan. The main living areas include a galley, salon with bar, and multiple outdoor spaces. Generous glazing throughout comprises double-glazed sliding front door, hinged rear door, and windows. Interior finishes feature a composite floor, white PVC ceiling, and 6 cm foam insulation. The lower decks are clad in Scandinavian cedar with stainless steel 304 railings.
Amenities and systems include LED lighting inside and out, electric central heating operating on 110V shore power, and air conditioning with reverse cycle heat that runs on either inverter or 110V shorepower. Fresh water and waste tanks each hold 264 gallons. The boat includes two 30 amp 110V shore power inlets with 50-foot cords. Galley appliances feature a SMEG refrigerator, electric convection microwave oven, and range hood. Additional features include an upper deck terrace with flexiteak flooring, stainless steel ladder and railings, movable roof roller blind, boarding ladder, mooring cleats, and outside cameras. A 3-way valve allows gray water to be directed to tank or overboard, with a waste pump installed. Fresh water storage in the float provides 105 gallons additional capacity.
