The La Mare Modern 11 is a 36-foot houseboat built for comfortable waterside living. Twin Yamaha 25hp high-thrust outboards with hydraulic steering deliver modest fuel-efficient power, with the helm station positioned at the forward port bow. The hull uses foam-filled composite floats over a galvanized steel frame, insulated with 6cm foam and finished with composite flooring and white PVC ceilings throughout.
The layout spans two staterooms and one head, along with a galley, linear bar, and salon. Double-glazed windows and doors flood the interior with light, while louvered overheads on the forward and aft decks provide ventilation and shade. The upper deck terrace features flexiteak flooring and includes stainless steel railings and a boarding ladder. Fresh water and waste tanks hold 264 gallons each, with a 3-way valve for gray water management and a waste pump.
Climate control comprises an electric central heating system powered by 110v shore power and an air conditioning unit with reverse cycle heat that runs off either an inverter or shore power. Two 30-amp 110v shore power inlets with 50-foot cables support extended dockside stays. LED lighting throughout, including dimmed options in the salon and reading lights in the staterooms with USB outlets, adds modern convenience. Standard equipment extends to a full bathroom with heated towel rack, shower, and electric freshwater flush toilet, plus a galley fitted with a SMEG refrigerator, convection microwave, and range hood. Outside cameras and TV pre-rigging with coax and CAT6 are installed, and the furnishings include bedroom sets with wardrobes in both staterooms.
