2024 La Mare Modern 11

The Modern 11 is a 36-foot houseboat built for comfortable waterfront living. Twin Yamaha 25 hp outboards with hydraulic steering power the boat, with the helm station positioned on the forward port side. The design prioritizes light and open space across its layout, which includes two staterooms, one head with shower and electric toilet, a galley, bar, and salon area.

The hull features foam-filled composite floats and a galvanized steel subframe, with 6cm foam insulation throughout. Double-glazed windows and doors provide thermal efficiency, while electric central heating and air conditioning with reverse cycle capability maintain comfort. The head includes a heated towel rack, and heated floors run throughout. LED lighting is installed inside and out, with dimmer controls in the salon.

Accommodation includes two bedrooms furnished with beds and wardrobes, each with reading lights and USB outlets. The galley comes equipped with a SMEG refrigerator, electric convection microwave oven, and range hood. Fresh water capacity is 264 gallons, with matching waste tank capacity. The boat includes 105 gallons of storage in the float chambers. Stainless steel 304 railings secure the lower decks, while the upper deck features a 4x4 meter terrace with flexi teak flooring and a motorized roof roller blind.

Power connects via dual 30 amp 110V shore power inlets with included 50-foot cables. The boat draws electricity for systems via inverter or direct shorepower connection. Additional features include four mooring cleats, a boarding ladder, outside camera pre-wiring, and TV pre-rigging with coax and CAT6 outlets. Scandinavian cedar planking finishes the exterior lower decks.
