The 2024 True North 34 is a 34-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull powered by twin Suzuki 350 hp outboard engines. The design combines classic Downeast styling with modern outboard propulsion, delivering a cruising speed of 20 knots with a maximum speed of 25 knots. The hull features a sharp, plumb bow and balanced displacement with flatter aft sections intended to maintain a stable ride across varying sea conditions. Trim tabs and joystick control are standard.
The single cabin below includes a head with shower and teak interior finishes. The pilothouse saloon features teak and holly flooring, a sliding sunroof with interior wood trim, and enlarged windows for visibility. The hardback enclosure with full-width opening aft window creates an open cockpit area, which includes a 12-volt electric sunshade. A bow thruster in tunnel and an anchor windlass support station keeping.
The boat is comprehensively equipped for cruising. Electronics include a Garmin 16-inch GPSMAP 8616xsv chartplotter, VHF 315 radio, Autopilot Reactor 40, and sonar. Power systems comprise a 110-volt generator, 2000-watt inverter, and Webasto forced air heating. Galley equipment includes an induction cooktop and convection microwave. Additional features are a Fusion marine audio system, underwater lights, raw water washdown at bow and stern, and a Porta hydraulic transom bracket for outboard engine positioning.
