The R-25 is a 28-foot fiberglass trawler built for cruising, fishing, and water sports. Powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha outboard, it combines efficiency with a planning hull and Ranger Tugs' proprietary Laminar Flow Interrupter technology for smooth handling and responsive cornering. A defining feature is the extended swim platform with handrails that clear the outboard motor entirely, creating safe space for boarding a dinghy, fishing, accessing low docks, and securing lines without risk to the engine or operator.
The main salon is open and bright, with a dinette that seats four and converts to a bed for two. A spacious quarter berth with removable mattress serves as additional guest sleeping or storage space. The full galley includes an electric and alcohol stove, refrigerator and freezer combo, microwave, and sink with hot and cold water. A private enclosed head with sink is also provided.
The forward stateroom offers a large bed, opening hatches for ventilation, reading lights, and a TV/DVD combo. Navigation and performance monitoring are handled by a Garmin 1242xsv chartplotter with GPS, transducer, and sonar. The boat is designed to be easily trailerable, making it practical for varied cruising destinations.
