The 2026 Catalina 426 is a contemporary 42-foot cruising sailboat built on the design legacy of Catalina's iconic 42 model. The boat features a fiberglass hull with a lead keel and single rudder, backed by watertight collision protection and reinforced chainplates. Its design prioritizes both function and comfort, with a spacious cockpit and carefully appointed interior that reflects Catalina's six-series refinement.

Sail handling is engineered for ease: a Selden synchronized main furling system pairs with an electric cabin-top winch, controlled from the starboard side. The boat carries a furling mast with battened mainsail, a 135% furling genoa, and self-tacking jib, with long inboard genoa tracks and a mainsheet traveler for balanced sail trim. A 6.5-horsepower bow thruster aids maneuvering. Power comes from a single Yanmar diesel engine.

The interior holds two cabins and two heads, with the third cabin space convertible to a workshop. Details include Burmese teak with ash slatted panels, teak and holly sole, and cream ultra-leather upholstery. The galley features a second refrigerator and freezer unit. Fresh water quiet-flush heads replace standard models, and the boat is equipped with AGM house and starting batteries. Climate control comes via a Webasto forced-air heating system.
