2026 Seawind 1160XL

The Seawind 1160XL is a 38-foot composite catamaran built on more than two decades of proven bluewater cruising design. This latest iteration expands on the model's established reputation with increased interior volume, enhanced natural light, and a redesigned layout while maintaining the rugged capability that has carried previous generations across oceans and around the world.

The 1160XL accommodates cruising with three cabins and two heads. The expanded beam of 21.5 feet provides the interior space and stability characteristic of the design. Twin Yamaha 50-horsepower gasoline engines power the catamaran, offering practical propulsion for varied conditions.

The hull is composite construction, built to the standards that have made the Seawind line a foundation of modern catamaran cruising. The design draws from a lineage of ocean-crossing vessels, refined here with updated styling and improved accommodations for extended time at sea.
